Now, a little about the position:
Uncommon Architects is looking to hire a talented Architect or Design Professional to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience, relevant education, and a professional license. Non-licensed professionals may apply, but shall have 8+ years experience or the ability to get licensed within 1 year.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Leading and performing all activities related to architectural project drafting, design and production during all phases of each project
Leading and performing design project coordination tasks ensuring all tasks are done accurately and on time to meet clients’ needs and specifications (scheduling, auditing team member’s work, redlines, etc.)
Providing architect team support including training, development, peer reviews, collaboration and communication
Performing all activities related to developing and building client relationships to secure projects, manage client expectations during project design, maintain connections after project completion
Well qualified candidates will have:
Professional Degree in Architecture (M.Arch or B. Arch)
4+ years experience in an Architecture Office including: Project Management, Consultant Coordination, Client Communication, Schematic Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration
Professional License (or additional experience)
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Google Suite
Familiarity with the International Building and Residential Codes
Time Management and Organizational Skills
Professional Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English (foreign language a plus)

A Valid Driver’s License
Employment Authorization in the United States
Work Schedule & Requirements:
Initial 6 months is full time in office, Hybrid; In-Person + Remote, is optional thereafter
Must currently live in Utah or be willing to relocate
Regular Site Visits throughout Utah
