We asked Tiffany a few questions to help us get to know the person behind the position a little better.
If you could travel back in time and pick any other era to design in, which would it be?
I’d want to go back to the 19th century during the Victorian Era.
The Victorian Era, spanning most of the 19th century, was known for its ornate and eclectic architectural style, blending Gothic Revival, Italianate, and Queen Anne influences. Characterized by intricate detailing, steep gables, turrets, and vibrant decorative trim, it celebrated craftsmanship and romanticism in design.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
I love to travel, read, and sing.
What advice would you go back and give to yourself on day one as an architect?
Life is to short to not live the one you want. And school isn't the only place you can gain knowledge. Surrounding yourself with good people can be a resource for you in this career as well.
Where do you find your creative inspiration?
Nature and conversations with friends. As well as innovative construction practices.
